Catch Weight

Handle products whose actual weight differs from one unit to the next, such as cuts, carcasses and packs. The real weight is captured at the weighing scale for each unit, and stock, costing and pricing are managed in both the base unit and the weight unit, so that inventory and invoices always reflect exactly what was produced and shipped.

Straight Weight

Process and record products that are packed to a fixed target weight. Each pack is checked against the defined weight and tolerance limits, under-filled and over-filled packs are identified straight away, and the results are stored for every batch, which reduces product giveaway and keeps packing consistent with labelling and customer requirements.

Co-Product

Record the additional main products that are produced together from the same cutting or processing run, such as several different cuts from one carcass. Quantities, batches and costs are posted correctly for each product, giving the plant a clear and accurate view of the total output and the real yield of every run.

By-Product

Capture the by-products created during processing, such as trimmings, fat and bones, and post them to inventory with their own quantities and batches. By-products are tracked from the moment they are created, which improves yield visibility, supports correct costing and helps the plant find new ways to reduce waste and add value.

Traceability

Trace every lot from raw material receipt, through cutting, processing and packing, to the final customer shipment. The complete history can be followed forwards and backwards within minutes, which allows the plant to respond quickly and precisely to quality complaints, food safety incidents and product recalls while limiting the volume of affected product.

Shelf Life

Manage the shelf life and expiry dates of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods throughout the plant. The solution calculates expiry dates automatically, prevents expired material from being used or shipped, and supports first expiry first out picking, so that fresh product reaches customers and spoilage losses are reduced.
